Flight 205: ATV Edoardo Amaldi en route to resupply the ISS
March 23, 2012: Early this morning, an Ariane 5 ES successfully launched the third ATV, the European Space Agency's automated cargo ship named ATV Edoardo Amaldi, bound for the ISS. The rendezvous with the ISS is scheduled for the night of March 28-29. It will remain docked there for several months before disintegrating in the atmosphere.
