Paris, October 9, 2025 – Dedicated to exceptional individuals since a decision by the National Assembly in 1791, the Panthéon now houses seventy-five men and seven women.
We have compiled, in the form of a non-exhaustive collection, the postage stamps and First Day Covers from our stock depicting figures transferred to the Panthéon in Paris.
Gaspard Monge (1746-1818), mathematician and politician.
Transferred to the Panthéon in 1989 on the occasion of the bicentenary of the French Revolution of 1789.
