Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron met for the first time, in Versailles (France), on the occasion of the inauguration of the exhibition dedicated to the tercentenary of the visit of Tsar Peter the Great to France. During a tête-à-tête, the two heads of state addressed a wide range of major issues, such as the fight against terrorism, Syria, Ukraine, human rights in Chechnya or the intensification bilateral relations.
