Moscow, May 9, 1995 - Arrived aboard the Presidential Concorde F.BVFA from Paris and Berlin, François Mitterrand was welcomed as an exceptional guest by the Russian authorities during the May 9 ceremonies celebrating the 50th anniversary of the victory over Nazism . It was up to him, after his host, President Boris Yeltsin, to make a first toast to the Kremlin, on the occasion of the dinner offered to some 55 Heads of State and Government who made the trip from Moscow.
