Jean Moulin (1899-1943), member of the French Resistance, Companion of the Liberation
"Rex," later known as "Max," was General de Gaulle's sole representative to the Resistance. In 1943, he founded the United Resistance Movements (MUR). Arrested by Klaus Barbie, he died under torture.

A philatelic envelope, designed by Historiaphil© (Philately Kiosk of the European Parliament, Strasbourg, France) commemorates the highlights of the Strasbourg plenary session of the European Parliament. It was produced as a continuation of the collection of philatelic envelopes bearing witness since 1949 to the history of Europe and its institutions. Its edition is limited and numbered.
