No. A380-102: Special cover “International ceremonies for the 70th anniversary of the Appeal of June 18, 1940, in the presence of President Nicolas Sarkozy, British Prime Minister David Cameron, and HRH Prince Charles”
This cover was carried aboard the “1st Air France A380 flight Paris-London-Paris 12.6.10 (AF1980/AF1981) - Pilot training flight” and bears the various flight authentication stamps on the back. It was then re-routed to London for a Franco-British twinning ceremony and bears:
1) The “70th Anniversary WWII, London SW1” cancellation of the international ceremony of June 18, 1910 on the personalized British Europe stamp “Historiaphil 1940-2010” featuring the General’s silhouette.
2) The first-day cancellation "l'Appel du 18 juin 1940" dated 18.6.10 in Paris on the French "Appel" stamp (from the block).
This exceptional cover is limited to 100 numbered copies. Each cover is accompanied by an A380 flight certificate.
