No. A380-103: Franco-British patriotic envelope “70th Anniversary of the June 18 Appeal: International Ceremonies London - Paris, June 18, 2010”
This cover was carried aboard the “1st Air France A380 flight Paris-London 12.6.10 (AF1980) - Pilot training flight”.
It is franked with a “Marianne TVP Europe” on a “de Gaulle, appeal to the Resistance” stamp holder, cancelled Roissy CDG 12.6.10, and bears the various flight authentication stamps on the back. It was then rerouted from London for a Franco-British twinning ceremony and bears:
1) The "Great Britain at War, Churchill Walk, London E9" cancellation from the international ceremony of June 18, 2010 on the personalized British stamp "1st Glorious England" "Historiaphil 1940-2010" depicting the General's silhouette.
2) The "The Appeal of June 18, 1940" First Day cancellation from June 18, 1940 in Paris on the French "70th Anniversary of the Appeal" BLOCK.
