The "Queen Mary 2" on its maiden voyage to the Caribbean stops in Martinique
On its maiden voyage to the Caribbean, the world's largest ocean liner called at Fort-de-France on February 4, 2004. Fort-de-France was the "QM 2"'s first stop in a French port since departing from Saint-Nazaire. A pictorial postmark and a special stamp immortalized this event in philatelic terms.
