Collector's Edition - Edition of 200 numbered envelopes (FDC) - Rare
A ceremony held in plenary session on Wednesday, May 7 at 11:30 a.m. commemorated the end of the Second World War in Europe.
Veterans addressed the Parliament. Parliament President Roberta Metsola opened the ceremony. A musical performance of the European anthem closed the event.
In a separate debate on Thursday morning, MEPs discussed the legacy of the end of the Second World War: 80 years of freedom, democracy, and security in Europe.
