American historic patrol “The Flying Fortress” on Boeing B-17
The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress is one of the most famous American bombers of World War II and the one that dropped the largest tonnage of bombs during that conflict. Designed in the second half of the 1930s, 12,677 B-17s were built and served in all theaters of operation until 1945.
